Video

In the beginning of 2020, I studied abroad in London, England. Just a few months later, I found myself back home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am extremely proud of this three-minute creative work I produced, edited and submitted in April. It reminds me that despite the challenges we may face, there is always room to create something engaging and interesting.

In this particular PRL 215 class assignment, I applied editing skills to a team video concept we executed in a shortened deadline. Relating Halloween candy to non-profit organization messaging was a challenge, but working in a team enabled creativity and different perspectives when executing the task.

To gain more experience with the convergence of visual storytelling to social media, this project in PRL 215 allows a short snippet into my day-to-day life as a college student. I was able to learn about applying editing skills to multimedia platforms while still following a conventional story arc.

Asa Shenandoah Interview

Created for my COM 117 final project, I interviewed a Native American Student Liasion at a local high school. This clip highlights Asa Shenandoah's passion for making a difference in her community.
